Who We Are
The San Ramon Valley Girls Athletic League is a nonprofit organization that was formed in 1974 to offer a quality recreational and competitive softball program to girls age 5 to 18. SRVGAL is the largest girls' softball organization west of the Mississippi.
Our typical season involves: 800 Players 70 League Teams 150 Coaches
We play almost 600 regular and post season games.
These statistics do not include the numbers associated with the SRVGAL Stompers A and B programs
Our Mission Our mission is to provide a quality recreation and developmental softball program for girls (age 5 to 18) regardless of race, creed or ability.
Our Community SRVGAL serves girls between the ages of 5 and 18 who live in Alamo, Danville, Diablo, Dublin, San Ramon and Walnut Creek
Our Objectives
To develop the physical and mental fitness of the girls in our community.
To provide an environment conducive toward developing an attitude of wholesome sportsmanship and respect for fellow teammates.
To teach the basic skills and fundamentals of softball through clinics and training programs
To develop positive coaching skills, knowledge and attitudes through clinics and training programs.
To build confidence, raise self-esteem and encourage responsibility.
To develop a softball program that will provide fun and enjoyment to all participants.
