Rules

SRVGAL is governed by three sets of rules that take the following precedence:

1. The SRVGAL "Standing Rules" are internal articles governed by the SRVGAL General Board and the SRVGAL Executive Board. These rules cover the overall and specific operation of SRVGAL. These rules take the highest precedence.

2. The SRVGAL General Board approves modifications or exceptions to the ASA Rules of Play. These modifications take precedence over ASA Rules.

3. SRVGAL play is governed by USAS Rules as published for the current season.

SPECIAL NOTE: 
SRVGAL plays USAS Junior Olympic Fastpitch Rules with age and division specific modifications. SRVGAL modifications take precedence over USAS rules. 

RULES COMMITTEE: 
A subcommittee of the SRVGAL Board meets periodically to review and recommend changes to the SRVGAL specific modifications and is chaired by the Umpire-In-Chief.
