These are the instructions for the All Star Day Selection for the 2020 Season.  An updated version for the 2022 season will be provided soon.

Thank you for volunteering to be your teams All Star Coordinator.  Below are the steps that will make you successful in this role.

There are a couple of reminders this year I want to make sure you are aware of before All Star Voting starts.

1.  There are no alternates.

2.  All girls are eligible to be nominated to the All Star Team; they do not have to let us know in advance that they are available to play on May 31st.

All Star voting can begin this weekend and I have attached a sample ballot for you.  Please be aware that coaches for the teams will be determined on team performance as of Sunday, May10th.  Your all-star game will be at San Ramon Valley High School on May 31st. Times will be decided soon.

Using the ballot template attached, create the ballot for you team.   Each girls should vote for the top players based on the numbers below for your divisions.

  • Divisions with 4 teams (3/4 Red, 5/6 Red, 5/6 White North, 5/6 White South, 7/8 Red and HS) will nominate 6 players per team.
  • Divisions with 5 teams (3/4 White North, 3/4 White South) will nominate 5 players per team
  • Divisions with 6 teams (3/4 Blue, 5/6 Blue) will nominate 4 players per team.
  • Divisions with 8 teams (7/8 Blue) will nominate 3 players per team.

Starting Saturday, April 25th

Provide one ballet to each girl on the team, the Head Coach and Assistant Coach. Other coaches/helpers are not eligible to vote for the Team's All Star players.

Encourage everyone to vote for players who have contributed the most to the Team, taking into consideration: overall contribution to the success of the team, demonstrated team spirit, game skills, and cooperation with the Head Coach and Assistant Coach.

  • Teams should be instructed to rank their selections based upon each player's contribution to the team. For example – 1 for the best player, 2 for the second place and then so on.
  • If a Player is absent from All Star voting on Saturday, April 25th, please work to get her a ballot by Saturday, May 2nd

Starting Monday, April 28th

Gather the ballots from the players, Head Coach and Assistant Coach. Votes must be tabulated by you, not the Coaches. Assign the following points for the votes each girl receives
