Fall Future Stars

Fall is approaching and with that, the SRVGAL Academy is opening signups for our Future Stars program.

The Future Stars program is open for girls enrolled in 1st-6th grades (and 7th if you participated in the 5th/6th summer program) for the 2019/2020 school year and offers the girls the opportunity to learn every facet of the game.  This session will be focused on hitting but will also be building on fielding skills and base running. Our goal is to get prepared for tryouts starting in November.  This is an advanced skills program and is tailored for girls who have some experience playing softball.  Our goal is to stimulate a love for the game along with getting the girls ready to play at higher levels.

We are forming one team for each of the 1st/2nd, 3rd/4th, and 5th/6th grades made up of 12-15 girls each. We are looking for the girls that want to get to the next level, be challenged while developing their skills, and want to have fun doing it. The teams will train twice a week and will start on September 5 and end on October 26.

1st/2nd grade training days and locations:

-Thursdays from 3:30pm-5:00pm at Red Willow Park

-Saturdays from 12:00pm-1:00pm at SRVGAL Academy (32 Beta Ct., San Ramon)

3rd/4th grade training days and locations:

-Thursdays from 5:00pm-6:30pm at Red Willow Park

-Saturdays from 1:00pm-2:00pm at SRVGAL Academy

5th/6th grade training days and locations:

-Fridays from 3:30pm-5:00pm at Red Willow Park

            - Saturdays from 2:00pm-3:00pm at SRVGAL Academy

Please note that if your daughter has conflicts with soccer, Jason will be holding open sessions at the SRVGAL Academy on certain Sundays from 9-10am.

We are holding an evaluation for our Future Stars teams on Sunday, August 25 at Red Willow Park in San Ramon. The length of the evaluation will depend on how many girls we have showing up, but you can expect a maximum of 1.5 hours. For those girls who played Future Stars this summer or for those in 5th grade or higher, there is no evaluation needed but please sign up at the Sign Up Genius link below to register your interest.  We will send you a registration link after evaluation day.

1st/2nd grade evaluation time is 12:00pm-1:30pm

3rd/4th grade evaluation time is 1:30pm-3:00pm

The cost of the program will be $325 and will include a practice jersey.  Payment will not be collected until the player has been placed on a team.

Please sign up by clicking here.

Please direct all questions to Steve Block

At all Future Stars practices, we play with confidence, enthusiasm, and a genuine love of the game! We want each athlete to leave the program with self-confidence and the tools to help them reach their goals.
